For correct cable length measure from steering wheel unit to where cable bolts onto outboard engine at the end of the stainless rod. (not the big nut) Example A measure from steering (helm) unit to the side of the boat with a minimum of 200 MM radius B Measure downside of boat C Measure from the side of the boat to where cable bolts onto outboard at the end of the stainless steel rod with a minimum of 200 MM radius. Add up in feet or meters and that is your steering cable length.
